Shop Manager – Leeming Bar Station

The shop at Leeming Bar has been without a Manager for the last year and this has resulted in a considerable loss of income.
The role involves keeping the area clean and tidy; keeping the displays filled and stock priced;  informing the stock team when re-ordering is necessary.
A volunteer to fill this vacancy is urgently required.

Operation Dalesman – Co-ordinator Designate

Operation Dalesman is the Railway’s 1940s Wartime Re-enactment weekend. First held in 2008, it has become one of our most financially successful events. This year it will take place on July 17th/18th (the first weekend of steam).

Since the beginning one member has been the WR Co-ordinator
and he would like a rest in 2011.

To ensure a smooth handover of responsibility, a volunteer is needed to understudy the current Co-ordinator for the rest of this year, with a view to becoming the Co-ordinator for the 2011 event.
